I am already in 2 leagues on CBS Sportsline.com ( $200 buy in - gambling style with various friends ) I would be interested if it was on CBS sportsline vs yahoo. Not sure if CBS allows complete freebies ? Sounds like some good arf.com fun to me. I would just rather not have to bounce back and forth between 2 FF sites. if you stack all of your leagues onto 1 site ... managing 2-3 teams is a cinch. |
Nice kitty's I got 1st place / $600 ( total pts ) in 1 of my 2 leagues last year ( my RB's were Westbrook and S. Jackson - w/ a 1pt add per reception ) ETA I had Joseph Adaii and Travis Henry benched each game and no one would trade with me because I ran wire to wire in 1st place for the entire season. The year before, I won $2K in my baseball buddies league when I had Alexander as my RB and he scampered for a record 28 TD's or so. I might be free rollin' on house dough for a few years

This should give people enough Preseason to scout some players! I've limited the league to a max of 12 teams. Any more and I find it to hard to have decent players! I can up it if we get an overwhelming response, but I'm not seeing it so far. This is a totally free league, if People want to setup bets, etc... That's up to you. Maybe if enough people get into it we can do a buy in next season. I only got into Fantasy sports last football season and found it to be a lot of fun. I'm not much of a gambler (besides, I need my money for booze, ammo, and buying CL finds from 6guns and Strike!)... |

Thanks, and tell me about it. I got addicted QUICK last year. Makes the games that I could normally give a crap about a little more interesting. Suddenly I care what a team like Cleveland is doing because I have a player from there! No I just need more people to join... Join dammit Join. I don't want to have to play PCR every week! |

FXT Yeah, SteveMc had the #1 pick. For a bunch of guys that talk shit about people from California, he sure jumped on LT pretty damn quick... Call me if you need help Navigating around, it can be overwhelming until you get used to it. I have Frank Gore and Walt Harris, what are they worth to you???

LT will not win your season because the Chargers will have locked up a real life play off spot about the time Fantasy football goes into "playoffs" and to keep him healthy for the Super Bowl run, he will not get much playing time. Thus you will not have him for our playoffs and you will exit early! I say this, because it happend last year to me! #1 in the League from week 1, got a bye for the 1st week of the playoffs, then booted by the guy ranked #6. |
No, but Steve Smith and Marvin Harrison will help. Having to have defensive players are a little more difficult than the leagues i've been in the past. I dropped out of another league figuring this one and another will take enough of my time. |
Same thing almost happened to me last season. LT was a stud all year and then I had to squeak through the playoffs, but I luckily still ended up winning. |
And that is why I did it! I played this format last season in my work league and because I didn't have good offensive players (or ones that couldn't stay off the DL), I did my homework on linebackers and was able to keep up with those that had Peyton, LJ, LT, and so on. |
I did notice somebody changed some of the defensive points setup just prior to the draft. IMHO, i'm pretty happy with my defensive team. Hopefully it will make up for my mediocre QB's, DEF and K. |
