You can go to any independent muffler shop, slip the guy a few bucks and he'll fix you right up. They do wirefeed welding all day.

Other than that, you can drop it off here or mail it to me and I'll take it to my guy.

I dont know if I trust a muffler shop to do a tight weld. I saw that you live in Everett. Im in Marysville. Is your guy in the area?

Honestly though, filling in a hole is one thing, if this gets burned through, or not done just right it is toast... Honestly I would rather JB weld it for now, and wait till I could find a guy that is good with that little stuff ( Like maybe a jewler) then risk it to slag on a attempt with the bigger stuff.

How thick is the material? I do TIG welding every day on steel, stainless steel and aluminum as thin as .05"

I work in Auburn, though, so that might be too far from you to do much good.

It is a real small weld on a very thin piece of metal..

The A100 is kinda-sorta a Sig clone, without ever having shot or held one I hafta ask, is the slide lock a sheet metal part? Any chance you could buy a $5 Sig one and modify it? What caliber of A100?
