I loved it... Years of training... Months of prep for your first UFC fight... Dominating the contest... Go for the huge, highlight style, WWF, slam... Knock yourself the fuck out! Priceless... How the hell can Maynard say he wasn't out.. The 70 year old doctor took him down with no problem! The only problem is that there was a precedent of that situation, a buddy was telling me that a few years back, Matt Hughes got a win (and the title) in a similar situation. So why the no contest ruling this time? |

I just finished watching this on my DVR. I purposely stayed away from this thread beacause I did not want to see what happened. Maynard was OUT. No contesting that. Mani put up a good fight. In the end, his eagerness to win cost him the match. I was glad to see Penn beat Pulver. |
