The unfortunate fact is that people are free to be wrong, stupid, retarded, dumbasses. Not my place to make them change their attitudes even when they are fucking morons. Its sort of like flag burning. I hate it. I despise it. But many good people in this countrys past and present have given their lives so that the idiots would have the freedom to express their points of view, regardless of how wrong they are. I don't agree with flag burning, but i'd die for their right to do so. On the other hand, I do rest easy knowing that should anything really bad happen in this country and social order should collapse, these people will probably be among some of the very first to go meet their god because of their stupidity.  |

well, so much for 'freedom'. Why do the people who call themselves the most patriotic Americans seem to be the people who least believe in it's ideals? I don't like their message but it is a free society, as long as they are peacefull and don't actually interfere with others (like, say, burning a cross on someone's lawn), they should be allowed to belive and say what they want. that being said - they don't deserve opposable thumbs. |
