I loaded up my little rangebag with an assortment of ammo. Couldn't find Garand clips for anything reasonable. Nor any good deals on .30-06 ammo. Did get a guy down to $500 on a SA Garand, clean looking shooter, nice wood, dirty barrel. But, since I didn't HAVE $500 to spend, it was sort of an intellectual excercise. Got his number, just in case. I probably missed a lotta cool stuff, cuz I accidentally wandered down The Ghey Aisle and became trapped by the Rainbow  Gang. Their leader, Phil-something-or-other, was easily distracted and I got away, just in time. El Bunnah to the rescue!

| I think allot of 308/556 guys are going to be getting into reloading soon. I know I already have gotten back into it myself. Was at sportsman's warehouse today and they have 55gr 556 by Ultra max for 250 for $73. Too much for that shit. They had American eagle 308 160 gr for 14 bucks a box of twenty. Not much left though even at that price. |

Got a project HK4 380 and 2x 22 barrels and stuff from Stokes, just needs 2 little parts I can find or make and its good to go, these are neat little guns, kinda adictive..... Got 1000 each 45 and 9mm from John at James.......really suprised that by 12PM most HSM 45 and 9mm 115 was gone, same with HSM 223........blamed it on Hillery ;) in/out in less than a hour..... |

Scored a dinged lower from Oly for the UTR project. Tried to find some bunny-beanie-babies but DaBunny had already bought them all up so their pictures wouldn't appear on the internet. Eric still has the SP101 I passed up for my new broken one. Consensus of gun experts upon hearing story of broken cylinder latch is 'bug-eyed surprise' and exclimations of 'that NEVER happens'. 2 30rd mags from James, with wrong floorplates (he's out of surplusammo.com ones). Saw 1000rd of Lake City SS885 .223 for $300 from James. Saw some .30-06 but forget the make and price (I already got my Greeks in Clips from CMP) Had a great Greek sammich at Safeway. Went on a driveabout up to the Carbon River Ranger Shack, quite by accident. Nice drive. Ought to be some places to shoot up there, but its Snoqualmie Natl. Forest so I doubt its legal. Sad to say the lower slipped from my pocket as I was leaning over the bridge and plunged 200' into the icy silt below. Anyone familiar with mountain rivers knows that its been ground to its component atoms by river boulders by now. Oh well. |

It's not gonna go down, anytime soon. The gov't has everybody booked up, making ammo for the war effort. Several manufacturers have stated that they won't be making any ammo for the civilian market, this year. As long as you are willing to shoot reloaded ammo, there is still HSM and Black Hills blue box. |
