[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Got Snow? (Page 1 of 2)
Isn't that the best part of Washington? You have all four seasons in a hour window!! |
Similar down here. Quite a show. |
You just turned in a perfect resume to be a news broadcaster! |

This morning in Tacoma, we had some snow. School was two hours late, no biggie. Not even 20 minutes ago, it started to snow, and we already have 1 inch+ in places where the snow had melted in the sun this afternoon. But this is the good stuff, not like what I woke up to, this snow is snowball snow.... |
| Yep, quite a bit here on the E hill of Kent. It was nice that class was canceled this morning--hopefully it will be tomorrow, too. I'm just hoping that flaming retards haven't gotten their cars stuck along my path to work, where I need to be in a bit over 2 hours. |
6-8" in the Hilltop of Tacoma. Every Hooptie in the Hilltop is spun out. The roads are nearly impassable, no plows in site. It is going to be a fun ride home in the morning. I had to drive a 14 passenger van to work tonight, it is 2 wheel drive and has no chains, A special thanks to Pierce Transit to properly outfitting their vans .

Hehe R32, that made me laugh. At least ,for the most part, we're prepared for winter hereabouts. Its sunny, and 18 degrees here today and Ive got about 20" of snow in the yard, and maybe 4 " of compacted ice in the driveway. Tomorrow's forecast is 10 degrees and snow starting Saturday, weeee! A condo in someplace warm does sound nice right about now. |
