I started to add this to the October post, but there were too many lesbian mom pics.... So I finally dug out my Tokarev's and did up a few photo's... This here is a 1944 Russian Izhevsk TT-33.  This is my Wheel o'Tokarevs with Russians, Polish and Chicom's a plenty.  This is the arsenal mark to my 1949 Radom made Polish TT-33/M48.

This post is neither a true hijack, nor a real pronpic addition...well,sorta.At my son's wedding yesterday, I spent an hour talking with the bride's paternal granddad. He's a U.S. military gun collector. He has an M-1 carbine, which was pulled out of the sand at the end of the battle of Tarawa. (Tarawa is actually a group of 5 volcanic bumps in the S. Pacific.) He told me a long story about it. He's looking for someone to make him a brass informational plaque to go with the display he's made for it. When I get up to Black Diamond to raid, er, ah, look over his collection, picture taking will ensue. Stay tuned.
