Federal AE .223 ammo is on sale at GI Joes for 3.99/box, not a bad price for ammo that shouldn't KB your gun....

Well Lynnwood GI Joe's has been cleaned out by yours truly. I got 25 boxes, there were two left on the shelf. Interesting, the shells are all polished up nice but it's LC06, NATO Stamped brass... WTF? Over stock? I found it odd to that the cases match my LC stash only much prettier for less?... Hows does this AE stuff rate? Good reliable? |
Federal on occasion buys over-run brass from Lake City. ATK (Alliant Technology) is the operating entity/government contractor for Lake City and owns Federal. |

I saw at least that much on the shelf, and behind the counter there was 8 + box's showing with more stashed behind them. |
| Well I went into the LS store tonight and there was none on the outside shelf. So I tell the guy behind the counter, "Give me half of whatever you have left" somewhat jokingly knowing that I only had money for a case at best. He reaches on the shelves behind him and grabs 5 boxes for me. So it appears I left 5 boxes for one of youz guys in Lake Stevens. |
I'll go pick it up first thing in the morning.  I think I will ask about getting a rain check for another 25 box's or so.. Could not hurt to ask, and get the ammo at a good price.

Go for 4. If it were 84 boxes of 20, that'd be a standard USGI case amount. 1680 rds. 10 per If it were in strippers. (With a 'spoon.) 120 each Loaded in bandoliers. 840 In a can 1680 In a crate.  84 boxes is what it is, but the right amount all the same.

GheyA3B gave me 25 Bando's with all the stripper clip's/Cardboard/Spoons, And not wanting to break open my Cases of XM193 and 3131A I better get a few more of these to load up for this years shootning.
