IM SO STUPID!!!! > Washington

I was swapping ejection port covers from my old bushy to my new one, (it closed way too hard) and I lost the tiny little c clip that hold the hinge in place. It wouldnt be a big deal other than Im gonna sell the old rifle soon.

Is it possible to find that tiny little part by its self, or will I have to buy the whole ejection port cover?

A drop of Loctite or glue does the same job

Or cut up one of your Guitar strings and make your own.

I might try something like that for myself, but Im selling it to a buddy and its his first AR. I dont want to sell him some ghetto rigged stuff.

If it is a E clip I have a kit, I don't know about Bushies but NORMAL Ar's have E clips and I could bring the kit to the LCR. Unless you are in a hurry.

Don't beat yourself up too much, I don't think anyone on this board who works on their weapons hasn't spent half the night looking for a small part. (If they say they haven't they are liars or not working on their own stuff)

Go Lowe's, they might have one that would fit. It's just a fookin' C-Spring so it doesn't have to be MilSpec.
