I hear that another one just bit the dust in front of your place, and there are power lines down... You got power or not?

Yes the grid only runs down to Don's place the wreck was further down the BenHoward. They had a hard time locating the accident, apparemtly the caller did not stay on the line. There is a big meeting coming up the Aug-21st 7;00pm on the traffic problem on BenHoward road and HW203. Nobody has any good ideas how to stop the Seattle-ites from crashing, seems more rice racers crash than anything else. Personally I do not care anymore, I say let nature cure the problem. |
Most people do not know where they are at all times, then you add in the "stress" of something bad going down and the best you can hope for is the last cross street they remmember and that they know what road they are on. Ben Howard is one of those roads, I usually use land marks... Ex. Where were you driving from?, where were you going to?.. When it come to BH, I use SR 203, the boat launch, leasure time, Cedar ponds rd, and 311th (Anne Mann road) as my land marks, Cedar ponds east I give it to Sultan, west I give it to Monroe. There are a few little cross streets out there, but they are not well mark'd, or are dirt roads that no one xcept a local would know, and the locals are not the ones that go tearing ass all around that place... Don't really think they will ever slow down the people out there, It is just too good of a temptation for the kids. |
