Looking for one in south puget sound, near Kent/Auburn area.  I got a ton of trash from buying shit online.  Need a place to haul it all away.

Does it cost money?  Never been to one.  What are you suppose to do?

King County Solid Waste

It does cost money. All the info you can find at that link. You pretty much just pull in, stop at window (scale), wait for a spot, then back up to the pit and start unloading. Then you stop at scale on way out and they will weigh you and give you the amount due.

Your "other" option is to get a dumpster dropped off at your house for a weekend. I don't know how much stuff you are calling a "ton"....but this might be a viable route for you as well. Call your current wasted disposal pickup outfit for more info.

Are those the big green thingy like 20ft long and 6ft wide or so?  There's one in my complex because they are working on the roof and siding.

If you're living in an apartment/condominium complex, I seriously doubt that you're going to have the 8+ cubic yards or many tons of waste that would make having a dumpster delivered economically viable. Check out the link JAFO posted. It's like a minimum of $13.50 for up to 320 pounds of garbage and pro-rated at $82/ton after that to haul it to a county waste transfer station yourself.

They also have the smaller dumpsters. More like 4ft high by 4ft wide by 8ft long. These work VERY well for a household. I used one in our last move. If I remember right it was like $60 total for them to drop it off at your curb. You load it up and they haul it away. MUCH MUCH more convenient than loading, hauling, unloading, waiting etc. by yourself. But once again it depends on HOW MUCH you have and whats it to you in time and hassle. Good Luck.
