I thought you guys would enjoy this.

I was going through some old boxes a couple of weeks ago, and came across a letter that I had forgotten about.  Quite a few years ago, I was seeing a woman named Jennifer.  Very cute, very fun, but a complete head case.  Anyway, there was a guy at her workplace named Greg, who had a huge crush on her.  They had never gone out, never done anything together, and really never talked much at work.  I met him only once, for about 20 seconds, when I went to pick her up from work one day.  It was so brief that I couldn’t tell you what he looked like a week later.  Anyway, when he found out that we were getting fairly serious, he freaked out.  He ended up writing me the following letter.  Mind you, I did not know this guy at all.  In addition, I am not religious, but he seemed to either have the impression that I was, or thought that he could reach out to me through religion.  Here is a scan of the letter.  Now, this is from someone who would have been in his mid twenties at the time.  This guy seems to be going through the typical 12 year old crush in his mid 20’s.  Sorry about the light print, I had trouble getting it to be darker.

Be glad that you got away from Jennifer because Greg sounds like he's halfway over the edge into psychoville.

Sounds like a nice person. I think he underestimated his stability.

That is the most sad and pathetic thing that any human has ever written, this is the type who ends up living with his mother by day and murdering prostitutes by night.  Oooooh, I'm in trouble now.

The funniest thing is, she was enough of a head case, she would have absolutely destroyed this guy.

You seem to have a conflict between your "Godly and carnal natures"!!!

After reading that, , I think Greg () needs to get in better touch with "hisself".

I just reread the letter, and I know now who it reminds me of-- remember Harold Lauder in Steven King's The Stand?

No, not really, since I have no Godly natures the carnal ones always take over, its an easy battle for them.
