I have a brand new Bushmaster A3 Ultra light weight. and I am looking for a Dot Sight for it. I obviously can't afford a Trijicon as much as I want one. Any Ideas as to a low cost sight. I'm talking less that $200.00

If you shop around you can find an ATN Ultalight Digital for a reasonable price.  Its a holographic reflex sight.  I've been very pleased with mine.

Post in the EE under Want to Buy and you might have luck.  Also look in the Optics section of the EE for ideas.

IMO, Save up a little more money and get an Eotech......the only way to go if you ask me.

Those ultra dots are here for $150.00
Sure can't beat the price if they are any good.

That's just it. It's hard to beat the EOTech. I did look at the specs. on the ultra dot and it sounds interesting. I have both Aim Point and EOTechs. And like the EOTech much better, I think it's more user friendly. But the Aim Point's advantage is it can be mounted closer to the bore and is also a good site.

I got an ATN ultra sight. It seems like it would be a decent sight, but mine turns off when I am shooting it. I have to send it back in and have it looked at. Other than that it seems like it would be decent, but I'd still rather have an Eotech!!

Save $100 and buy a Bushnell holosight unless you need the extra shield and NV capablity, assuming your buying the  55X series EOTech, otherwise you're just buying the extra shield on the 51X series.  Another option is finding a bowhunting EOTech 52X series and junking the mount, although it too doesnt have the shield. Ive bought 3 Eotech/Bushnell sights and paid $200 or less ea.  The reticle patterns are changable far as I know although on my BUshnell its a dot rather then circles. HTH
