I believe all fruit tree wood burns well. I also seem to recall that it's not good to cook over most of it. That being said, bring it to the next LCR gathering for firewood.

My family has been using Fruit woods like apple, pear, orange and lemon in our bigass tow-behind BBQ/Smoker. you mix it with other stuff, but I think it would be ok to cook with if you really wanted to...

Now all you have to do it get TRG to come and pick it up.

I've heard its great for smokers or bbqs.  Get it wet and go go go!

PCR...I take it you were in the Signal Corps?  Ever do time at Fort Lewis?  I used to work in the G-6 there for about 4 years.

Now that I have googled, it seems most fruit wood is BEST for cooking with. Dunno why it wouldn't be. Maybe it was just cooking ON or something (weiner sticks). Who knows. Most of what I've read said just don't cook with it if it smells noxious.
