V2 was possibly the biggest guy there, if that helps your memory. I talked to him quite a bit and would be suprised if he has a troll account. He impressed me as a straight shooter. |
Could have been V2 at the shoot. I unmounted the EOTech so he could handle it and look at the reticle behind the firing line. He did fit your description, and impression. The followup post had some similarities. Only reason I brought it up. If I'm wrong then I apologize to V2. |

(At some point it will be made clear who we were afraid you might be-- it may have colored some of our reactions to your perceived reticence-- but I knew right away you were not he, your grammar is far too good!  ) So tell us a little about yourself!

Gentelmen, well lets see, i was born and raised Walla Walla, south east washington. After high school i spent four plus years at Eastern Washington University, Cheney, aquiring a good yankey education and proceeded to the ranks of the working world. Joined the US Navy and became a Q.M. for eight years and aquiring the rank of PO1 in unkle sugers navy. I left the Navy as i decided twelve more years of bs and the idea becoming a CPO with a pot belly was not for me. After the Navy i was given the opertunity to work overseas in central and south africa for a large mineral company provideing escort services and driving supplies from one ranch to the other delivering mail, supplies, and vips. In this enviroment the land rovers always in full horizontal motion about 80MPH as highway bandits and pirates would kill you for your shirt. Standard equipment was a old inglis hi power, FN made Uzi with a frag or two for close encounters of the thrid kind. After three years pushing the gas and chassing lions and zebras i moved back the USA and worked in high security job placements. Petroium asset protection and Nuclear security in the private sector always paid better Currently working in a differnt setting in heath care security and dealing with helping people is a nice change. Its has been an interesting life thus far. The only bad things are the wife lost her battle to breast cancer ten years ago, and my best freind, My father, passed with liver cancer from to much booze and cigerettes last september. It has been difficult loosing him. Now no kids to bitch now except playing extended unkle for others is a big bonus at birthdays and x mass. I enjoy most of the spectrum of gun collecting including assault weapons which have been a major part of the whole thing since i was eighteen. I quit hunting years ago, just enjoy looking at the majasty of the wild amnimals but love blasting crows with OO buck and ground squirels with 22 magnum. |
