Since I accused PCR (aka,  MR DRUM BUMPER) of starting the last one here goes.

I already have the first week of June off so that would be convenient for me but other than that it's all the same.

Any weekend is good with me us.

We might consider that the later in the year its held, if there is an early fire season, the area may be closed.

Now I need to make one of those for the next shoot. Maybe we could use 1GR's bumper to mount it on. Even better someone could get a ride to town or a ride back to camp on it.

June 17 sounds good to me as of now. How likely is it for them to close the area down for fire season? And if that happens do we have an alternate location just in case?

Thats why I voted June 10th weekend, thinking the earlier the better, and still not doing it on a Puyallup weekend.

Alternative site? Kooters house!

Can we bumpfire in a cul-de-sac?

They rarely shut that area down but, it could happen.  Depending on how dry it is and how far people want to go, I know other places.

The only way I can overnight is to carpool with somebody. My wife would need the car while I was gone.

, time doesn't matter to much to me.

I think the point about earlier because of fire season is a good one.

Good....a location I can find.

Now, forgiving my ignorance, I have to ask, the Pullyallup show is closer to the pit than the Monroe show, Yes?

ETA-When are the next shows in Monroe and Pullyallup?

It depends on what you need from a show, the Centralia show is way closer than anything else. Hell, from Seattle or the eastside, one has to pass the Centralia show to get to the pit.

Note to all, the annoying "When are the next TOSTPAM show dates" questions from yours truly has been abated, for now. I have tattooed the above listed information on my...forearm. Okay, not really tattooed, but inked all the same! You know what that means!?!?! I won't ask again for at least another week!

ETA-Who's up for an Eastside shoot (Eastside as in Spokane, possibly Moses Lake area?) in May??? See the eastside shoot thread...

For the love of God, do not hold the next LCR shoot during a Guard weekend!

This past weekend, I missed the WAC show and the LCR shoot, so I could take a PT test and shred a zillion obsolete Technical Orders (T.M.s for you Army-types, Big books with lots o' words and some pictures for you Marines).

ETA:  Breaking out the crayons here. . .
T.O. = Technical Order (USAF)
TM / T.M. = Technical Manual (USA, USMC, USN*)

* Evidently the Navy has little to no standardization of their technical publications.  It seems that NAVAIR, NAVELEX, SPAWAR, NAVSEA, etc. have never met each other face to face.  The publication numbering systems give that fact away.

I Thought TM stood for Technical Manual?  Forgive me, it's been a few years.

Hmm. . . sounds like a loaded question. . .

Hell, I'll bite. . .

4-5 JUN 05. . .

BY ORDER OF THE GOVERNOR

Timothy J. Lowenberg
Major General, WA ANG
The Adjutant General

John S. Tuohy, Colonel, WA ANG
Executive Support Staff Officer

Yes, unfortunately as per Title 38, RCW I have to obey "Governor" Gregoire.
Hopefully by the time the next LCR shoot comes along the acting Governor will be Brad Owen.
Also, since I do not wear stars, flora nor fauna upon my collars I have to kinda ride along with whatever dates are tossed upon me.

The last time this house became the alternative site I got about 2 hours of sleep, didn't get to drink anything AND still had to go to work the next morning, besides Cavvet, I bet your house is bigger and has a lot more toys to play with
