Hey Guys, I've been calling around to see who is going to be threading barrels and got this info from Wades. For $99, if you bring in your upper, he'll turn it 1/2" x 28TPI and install a Phantom. If you've already broken your gun down and bring in just the barrel, it'll be $75. Turn around time right now is less than a week. If you drop them off this weekend, he'll have them done Friday. Work is guarenteed, if they screw up your barrel, you'll get a new one free. Don't bring in any lowers or guns, just uppers or barrels. |
Kooter- When I was at the Oly Arms day Tom told me that they would not be threading barrels for a while if they did it at all. He told me that it would almost be cheaper to buy a new barrel they it would be to thread the barrel and put on a FH. That was like 3 weeks ago, maybe they changed their minds. |
