| Are any of you seeing this? Or rather, did you see this event? Tremendous amounts of lightning, lighting up the sky east of Seattle, maybe over the Cascades about every 20 seconds. It's been going on since about 10:45 pm. I got a few pics, I'll get them up once I'm awake. |
| There's lightning both north and east of Redmond now. One particular bolt traveled so far across the sky that I had to pan from the north window to the east windows to see it all. I think I'm going to unplug the electronics now. How much could you see from Renton, Scollins? |
Dear God..... Please give us another lightning show like you did the other day, It was really neat-O... and God, If you could... Just before you give us the show, Kick Bigscrun in the nutz just to make sure he is awake! Amen.

I watched the show from Redmond starting around 10pm or so, just bright flashes in the distant east. Fell asleep on the couch and was awoken by the sound of extremely loud thunder CRASHES around 12:00 or so. The storm must have gone directly over my head since the flashes were immediately followed up with the loudest crashing thunder and rumble. What a show. I haven't seen or heard anything like this since I was about 12 and living in Germany. A tree about 20 yards away from our house was split in two by lightning. |
