With the AWB set to fade away in September, I had a question about how it affects the handgun situation.

With the sunset of the AWB, does that mean we can have high-cap mags for our handguns again?

Thanks everyone,

If that's a stupid question then I'm a moron because I have no idea what the answer is.

If the ban goes away, I do believe we will.

Same ban covers assault weapons and high capacity ammunition feeding devices. 18 US Code chapter 44 section 922 V & W outline assault weapons and large capacity ammunition feeding devices, respectively.

1994--Pub. L. 103-322, Secs. 110105(2), 110106, temporarily added
Appendix A at end of section. See Effective and Termination Dates of
1994 Amendment note below.

Effective and Termination Dates of 1994 Amendment

Amendment by sections 110102(a), 110103(a), and 110106 of Pub. L.
103-322 repealed 10 years after Sept. 13, 1994, see section 110105(2) of
Pub. L. 103-322, set out as a note under section 921 of this title.

Now, not sure I can find the text of Pub. L. 103-322, nor can I explain exactly what all that stuff means. I get a headache every time I start looking into anything in the US Code.
