Finally had a chance to shoot it....25 yrds, 80 rounds, no jams, stove pipe and less recoil than my 45 making double tap fun and not a chore.  Sweet out of the box.

It uses modified Beretta 92 magazines. Only thing that they modified is the hole for the mag catch in the front of the body, like a Ruger P-series. Springfield XD9 "hi caps" are really just 15/17 rnd mags made by Eagle for $35 or so at SA.com. Same mags that CDNN sells for $13 without the extra hole. So if yer even halfway mechanically inclined, buy the Beretta hi caps from CDNN and make the correct mag catch cutout for the XD rather then buying $13 mags for $35. HTH

It also uses the XD 40 mags as a standard capacity mag. 15 rounds, and the same exact body/lips. No Dremel needed. Never a problem.
