One of the many sweet things about that shoot, is checking out other guys gear before you dump money into a certain set-up you've only read about on-line.
Like I did.
I should be there with my binos, which are available for anybody to check out. |

I would like to try to attend. However I am not NV poor, just archaic, mostly I have some sort of frankensteined gen II (I think) that was set up with a camera lens and the focal length is off, needs some spacer to get it to focus clear(ish) Also have an early Vietnam war era gen I signal light - my Dad got this of the LST‘s Higgins boats. Probably needs a new battery, uses an odd size. And have a newer ATN scope, but not tried it yet. One of these days will get a PVS14 preferably white phosphor |

Plenty of guys were there last month with no nods and just wanted to check some out, shoot with white light, and get to know other shooters. Id actually like to see that old stuff. |

As of now we are going with Jan 16th for the next shoot. We will have a few things going on before the shoot starts. I’m thinking around 3pm we will have a demo in the club house. Josh from Patriot Valley Arms will be joining us for the night shoot and he is bringing some rifles in for people to check out. Of course they will be equipped with night vision units to shoot with. Also Filipe from Elite UAS will be there. He is a new distributor for Photonis and will have units on hand to check out. A lot of people have been asking to see photonis tubes lately and this will be your chance. Rosedale Sportsman’s Club, you can’t get have this much fun anywhere else for $20. |

Hey guys next meet up is less than two weeks off. Sat 1/16! NO NODS ARE NEEDED to show up. Come shoot using your wml. Come check out different nods. Come meet new people who share the same interests. Cost is $20 cash to rosedale sportsman's club if you're shooting and I believe free to just watch and hang out. Don't feel intimidated either. I only shot at night once before and that waals last months shoot. Everyone was very helpful and @hill_monkey (who should be there too) is a legit good guy. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions. |

Also, the fella that was gonna bring all the photonis units isn't able to get his hands on them till Feb. There's a guy coming from the other side of the state (that Geissele employee I mentioned last shoot) and he's got a set of photonis white phosphor binos that I'm sure he'll let yinz look thru. |

Bit of a drive for me but I'm going to make it as long as nothing crazy happens at work earlier. Just curious, anyone on here from Washington County? I'm just over the line in Allegheny and my go to range is in Washington. Feel its past time to start networking since everything is going to shit. |

There is "open shooting" so bring your rimfire gun and someone will let you peek through some nods for sure. |

If you are on the fence about coming out, just do it! Its a good time, even if you dont shoot. Check out gear, meet some arfcommers, and get out of the basement. Where: Rosedale Sportsman Club When: 3pm (to check out gear and shoot the ma duece if interested) or 4pm to start gearing up. Shooting stops at 10pm. Cost: $20 if you shoot, I believe its free to just hang out and watch. @mbx5 @ditw @beagledad @jq66 @pa452 Ill be checking arfcom once I get there. Ill post a pic of my helmet tonight or tomorrow so you have an idea of who to look out for. ETA: This is NOT my club or my organized shoot, but a shoot open to the public. Im just pimping it because its the perfect time to do something new that few will have a chance to unless you own a private range. |
