What to expect: Best gun laws in the country, worst alcohol laws. Great trails to hike, but terrible roads to drive.
If you didnt know, or forgot: Class III NFA items (SBR's, SBS's, AOW, Suppressors, and transferrable full auto) are all legal in PA. Open Carry is legal in PA PA has a easy to obtain CCW. No Permit needed to buy or own any standard Long Gun or Handgun. No waiting period to purchase. FTF transfers of long guns is legal in PA No additional restrcitions on so-call "assault Rifles". Semi auto, bayo lugs, threaded Barrels, pistol grips, and detachable magazines, in any combination, are legal. No Magazine capacity restrictions. No ammunition sales restrictions. We have one of the highest concentrations of Rod and Gun Clubs, and if you are willing to travel (and pay), can easily find one that has distance to 300, 600, or 1000 yards. |

I'm in Gilbertsville. 5 minutes from Boyertown.
Boyertown Rod and Gun is right up the road. Great gun club with tons of stuff. I think someone mentioned it in the 2nd or 3rd post. You need a member to vouch for you to get in and have to do an orientation. If your looking for a membership, let me know and I can get you an application. I live in Boyertown.
Welcome back, soon. Traffic has increased a lot in the past 30 years. Lots more developments, which lead to the increased traffic. The town itself hasn't really changed. Are you originally from Boyertown? If so, the O's, Iezzi's, and all the local hose houses are still pouring drinks. From your screen name-Are you a firefighter? The Hookies, Libs, and Keystone are all combining resources into the Boyertown Regional Fire service. Housing prices are starting to climb back up from the bottom of the housing crash. Still reasonably priced around here, compared to surrounding areas. There are STILL a lot of FUDDS in the area. Some still haven't warmed up to AR's at the ranges around here.
