I read the tacked thread, and I understand that as long as I am walking I can OC. But if I am in a vehicle I can't. A LTCF will allow me to CC in a vehicle (and elsewhere), but I can't OC in said vehicle. Is this correct? Also, does a bicycle count as a vehicle (I'm assuming yes, unless shown otherwise)?
I'm planning on moving to Ben Avon next year, and I'd like to know the popo isn't gonna fuck me up if I OC there. |

I believe that if you have an LTCF, it doesn't matter if you're OCing or CCing the weapon while you're inside the vehicle. If it's loaded and inside the vehicle it's considered concealed anyway. This is my understanding as well. If you get your ltcf you can carry open or concealed in a car, on a bike, riding a horse... Whatever. |

If you are open carrying and get into a car WITHOUT having a LTCF you are now carrying a concealed firearm illegally. You must disarm yourself and store the firearm in the appropriate manner (locked in trunk away from ammo or however) if you DO NOT have a LTCF. If you have a LTCF it makes no difference.
I can't speak for a horse or bicycle. |
