I am putting out the feelers for a good smith to thread my Savage 10 barrel. Anyone got a lead in the Pittsburgh area?
Thank you - I will go back across the border now.

Maybe the Savage will be different but when I stopped in and asked about getting my AI barrel threaded, I was informed they don't do that. Of course, a friend had asked the same thing a week earlier and was told yes, which is why I went down in the first place!

ER Shaw does not do any gunsmithing for things they didn't produce. Confirmed that this week.

So does anyone know someone in the western pa area to do barrel work? Cutting, threading, FSB install on a striped barrel.
