Dear Pennsylvanians My friend in Chad's Ford (almost to Wilmington DE) wants to buy a rifle from me but his local FFL (the one he always deals with) wants to charge him $50 for a transfer. Admittedly I'm spoiled as my local FFL used to charge me $15 and now charges me nothing, but we've been unable to find a cheaper transfer fee using the usual methods (gunbroker, etc.) Is this the norm in PA? Makes a beat-up old rifle almost too much trouble. |

Get him to check with Ken Crane , he does used weapon transfers pretty reasonably . He or you can look over the FFL list to see if someone is closer . The list is located in "Important Threads " Ken Crane Sporting Goods 310 Slone St. Crum Lynne (Ridley Township) Pa. (610-833-5105 & 610-833-5220 |

PA geography is a mystery to me as a Tarheel (except for a town just east of Chambersburg...), so even though I looked over the list in a split screen with a PA map, it remained a mystery. |
