There are two gun shows this weekend in the Philly area, which one is the best to attend if I'm wishing to pick up Powder and primers? 1. Philadelphia, National Guard Armory or 2. Greater Philadelphia Expo Center |

T&T reloading will be at the armory show according to their website, so if you want reloading supplies...go there.
I went to the oaks expo show last time and it was good and crowded. Edited to add: Seems like T & T changed their schedule and will be at OAKS this weekend! |

Went to both because NG Armory was closer, but they had no reloading stuff, total waste of money. I doubt I'll every go there again. Oaks was 100% better. Was able to get most of what I was looking for. I would have done better to order on-line and pay the hazmat fee. 100 miles round trip (20 mpg) 18.00 in gas, 5.00 in tolls, and 8.00 to get in for a total of 31.00 and I still was unable to get TAC Powder. |
| I went to Oaks. This show is getting better and better. It was well stocked. Isles were nice and wide. Crowded but manageable. I picked up 4 cans of 30/06 ammo that is on en-blocks in bandoleers. The cans had 192rds and were $140/can. These were the 30cal ammo cans with the raised bullet on on the lid so they are reusable. Not too much crap for sale. Lots of guns but the prices were all over the place. It was a good day at the show. I love talking to the dealers that I have become acquainted with over the years. "Every dealer complained that although the traffic inside the show was good but no one was spending. Go with cash and make your offer guys! |

Maybe that's because a DPMS/Olympic/No Name AR bomb went off in there and covered everyone's tables with shit. Just once, just FUCKING ONCE I'd like to see a table with Colt, BCM and KAC rifles for sale. Hell, just BCM uppers would be a welcome sight. It's always the same DPMS garbage at these shows. |

Just once, just FUCKING ONCE I'd like to see a table with Colt, BCM and KAC rifles for sale. Hell, just BCM uppers would be a welcome sight. It's always the same DPMS garbage at these shows. I know there are alot of crap ARs at the gun shows, but I doubt you will ever see new BCM and KACs at shows. If you want BCM, buy it from their webstore. You'll find that they have a hard enough time keeping their own store stocked. Alot of gun show dealers don't know much about companies like Larue or BCM or KAC. Gun shows are mostly for used firearms. Do you think a small time gunshow dealer is going to sell a Noveske to a 21 year old kid who just wants to own the baddest looking gun he can afford? I've noticed that those "lower" quality items are for people that don't know the difference between a good or bad product and only care about price and maybe if it looks cool. The was one dealer "Precision Firearms" who sold quality materials like Daniel Defense, Troy, Magpul, Nightforce and Geissele. He also had an AICS precision build on display. That was the first time I've ever picked up the AI chassis and it is heavy. I seriously doubt he would ever sell that at a gun show because most of his business seems to come from people who specify what they want down to the individual parts. |

One dealer had some KAC rifles but not separate uppers. Knowing that people who look for quality rifles also go to shows, I'd want to be the only dealer there who gets their business. I am seeing more Troy parts which is great. There are also always a few LWRC rifles there as well, but the price point places them out of range of most buyers. I did see an LMT MWS there this time, though. I got to handle the HK 556 rifle, too. That is one topheavy bitch. You also need a team of horses to pull pack the charging handle. No thanks. |

One of my favorite local shows.just start going to the oaks show,eagle arms is doing good with this one. plus,its only 10 min from VF....... on a side note, the promoter of vf show,fred and pearl, are asshats. im glad they are no longer going to be at this venue. im sure youll hear pearl bitchin about this for a bit.... |
