Please join me in thanking Don K who stepped up and conceived, planned, and executed a great match. Can't wait to see what he comes up with next!
I ran it during our testing phase and thought it was a great test of skills and very exciting as well. Scores are ready. Seems like accuracy won the day. Congrats to Chad S, Matt R, Don K, Jess, and 'Pinchy'. Great work guys. https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en&hl=en&key=0AtSr2kaqAtDtdGFQejVlbm1mMVdJWUZWU2Z1N2d4eGc&single=true&gid=5&output=html ––Fargo007 |

My speed was fine, but my accuracy suffered badly. My pistol shooting was horrendous. I think I made 1 hit total with the pistol. Great match though. Thats what I love about these matches. 1. Keeps ya from getting overconfident/cocky 2. Exploits your weakness so you know what to practice on going forward. |

Wait till I decide to really break bad and hit you guys with the "all support side" match.....
I wouldn't bring a steyr aug or an MSAR unless you happen to already have cheek replacement surgery scheduled for later that day. LOL –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Apocryphal notes: The Mogadishu Mile is coming guys...... It's coming..... and it's going be be even better than last year. More organized, more reactive targets, and all the marksmanship and physical challenges you have come to love. It's gonna blow your mind. If you want to shoot it you MUST have shot with us before in regular NHRPC matches. We are not accepting first time shooters into the Moag. You must be an alumnus to get into this one. This match is about thanking the shooters that supported us since we started in 2009. There are two matches in between now and the mile, so get out there. Chin music is not an acceptable substitute. ––Fargo007 |

I just started running a new optics combination (4x ACOG and Aimpoint R-1 at 1 o'clock) at this match so I went back to the range yesterday to get some practice in (I also haven't used my ACOG in years). The ACOG is zeroed at 100 yds and the Aimpoint at 50, but somehow I was getting better groups with the Aimpoint. I guess I need to go practice some more with the ACOG.
