| I was born & raised in PA. I`ve had a permit to carry for years. Last year I retired & transplanted myself & other to NC. When I come up to Pa to visit family & friends, is my permit still good to carry while I`m here? I haven`t got a NC permit yet, they cost 200 & that`s hard money to come by on SS money. Thanks & I do miss good ole PA. |
| If your fulltime reisidents is now in NC, no your PA resident Carry Permit is no longer good . You may be able to get yourself a FL non-resident permit and that would be good in PA , but I think you would need a carry permit in your state of residents . Someone well set us straight on this matter . |

Without a NC permit you can't get a NON resident PA license either.
If I were in your shoes , I would collect cans and bottles or work at Mcdonalds to get the money for a NC permit. |

Now, one could argue that since you are no longer a PA resident, your resident LTCF is no longer valid. However, as I said, a LTCF must be revoked and there is no wording in the law about moving out of state making the LTCF no longer valid. |
