Quoted:
i'm about 99% positive you can own them, but you can't carry them. same goes for brass knuckles, batons, blackjacks, etc. they are whats defined as an "offensive weapon" if your LEO you can carry anything. assisted openers are okay. Assisted openers are also a offensive weapon, a.k.a they are "switch blades". I've asked many LEO and sheriff's this question, all give the same response. I can never get an answer as to length or fixed blade carry. |

Assisted Open knives like Kershaws are legal as they do not fall under the definition of offensive weapons. |

No, automatic knives, switch blades, etc are not legal in PA. Not true. You can own them. Just can't carry them. They are legal for collecting reasons. I've got a couple. We will be visiting you shortly. http://www.moonbattery.com/archives/elian_gonzalez.jpg
Why don't you do some looking into what you are claiming.

I also have quite a few and have no problem when ordering one, if they were not legal knife vendors would not ship to you. |
....You can buy a Kershaw in any PA Kmart or Walmart.
