The city is not permitted to make any firearms laws. That is a state regulation. They have done so anyways, I think it has to do with reporting stolen firearms within a set time, and four other regulations. As far as I know these laws are not being enforced due to the Philadelphia DA stating the laws the city passed are illegal.
The only difference in state law in relation to Philadelphia is open carry of a firearm is not legal within Philadelphia County without a firearm carry permit. Open carry is permitted in the other counties. Regarding your firearm question, call the range in question. It would be up to them. |

I didnt think we were aloud to open carry? I had this discussion with a guy at Tanners gun just the other day. He said that why the permit is called concealed. And showing it off in public would be like branishing your weapon. Not steping on any toes but i've asked a few places and seems like I got different answers. Well, good luck shooting in Killa del phia lol

Well, good luck shooting in Killa del phia lol i think you posted over on PAFOA about being in Tanners and OCing. the law states that Open Carry is legal in Philthadelphia as long as you have your LTCF (License to carry firearm). Nowhere on the LTCF does it state that the firearm must be Concealed. |
