Anyone know where there is a gun buyback like the one at the church in Albany, NY?

The pastor is paying $150 for any handguns turned in.

I have a Grendle P-12 with a broken frame.

I figue $150 for that paperweight is a good deal.

It would be funnier to contact the BATFE and get the pastor arrested for violating federal law.

Like there is any hope, at all, of them actually pursuing those charges.

Good point.  If that were the case, they'd have Bloomberg in jail for the crime ring he's been running.

Yep.

So given that fact, I'm all for turning in junk and then using their money to buy more guns, making the program have the exact opposite effect it intended.

At $150 per handgun, I'd consider ordering some of those Russian Nagant revolvers and trading them in at a 250% profit.

Q. What do I need to do if I want to sell or transfer
a firearm to a friend?
A. You must have a licensed firearm dealer or sheriff
process the transaction. The $3.00 surcharge
does not apply. There will be a $2.00
Pennsylvania Instant Check System (PICS)
background check done on the intended
recipient of the firearm, to ensure the individual
is eligible to acquire the firearm.

No, we mean that he almost certainly DOES NOT... which means that by turning in a gun to him, an illegal transfer of a handgun as taken place.
