How do you guys feel about this shop/range?

I go there quite frequently to shoot pistol. They have a lot of lanes and so far I have always been able to get a lane without shooting. Their air cleaners aren't the greatest but I can deal with it for the hour or so that I'm usually shooting. Other than that, their range facilities are fine. There are a lot of newbies there so I always try to keep a close eye on my stuff and those around me. Several times I've had to remind people to keep their weapons pointed down range.

For the staff, some of the guys are really nice, others not so much. On the shop side, both Bob and Joe are friendly and helpful but some of the other guys there I avoid because of their poor attitude. In the range, the RO Steve is really nice and I feel like he actually watches people to ensure safety. There is at least one other RO there (young guy, don't know his name) who seems like he could care less what anyone did. Most of the time he is just curled up in his little cube. I don't care for his lackadaisical attitude.

For ARs it is not so good since you have to buy their frangible ammo at $10 a box. I go to an outdoor range for AR shooting.

They just raised their prices to $15 an hour. Kind of steep I think but you can buy memberships to make it cheaper. Their handgun prices are sometimes quite competitive. Give it a try, there isn't a lot to choose from in our area.

Everything is overpriced , I don't care for Tom the owners attitude and some of the workers.

I worked there about 5 years back and have to say that the owner "tommygun" is the worst person i have ever worked for. I have never been treated worse in a work enviroment. The way he treated customers was almost as bad.

Sums up my opinion as well.

some of them are pretty ignorant there.

I bought a G19 there and the price wasn't too bad but nothing special, the 5% NRA discount is nice but it's probably just a 5% increase to everyone else.

their ammo and accesories are way over priced and they hardly  have anything AR related other than a few AR's

Same here.  The RO wanted to instruct me in the proper way to tape a target to a backer.  I almost bust out laughing but then realized he was serious.  They will however leave you alone if your groups don’t resemble buckshot at 50 yds.  The range facility is mediocre but they do have an excellent selection of rental guns for you to try before you buy elsewhere.

I seem to have had the same experience everyone else had.  It's real hit or miss with the quality of service.  I wanted to "trade in" the HK pistol I had  (I bought it new from them years earlier with all the paperwork).  They wouldnt even talk to me until they had my pistol behind the counter to "appraise".  Even when I decided not to do anything at that time, they tried to pressure me to buy.  I dont think I've been their since except to use the range a couple times.
