Are there any people in the pittsburgh area that are intrested/have the tools to build aks? I have been sittin on a small pile of kits for at least a year, and they haven't changed. Is there any body able to help a brother out? Thanks, EdHunter |

| I am not really trying to plan any type of build, but if thats what it comes down to, thats great! I don't really have much to offer tooling-wise besides a small drill press, a dremel, and some other hand tools. I just need to get some stuff built, and haven't really had the chance. The only things I havereally gotten acomplished were at a buddys in west virginia, but thats a 2 hr + drive. Any one else? |
This is something we need to get going around here "Pittsburgh area". Members from Erie would be welcome too. I would like to be able to drive there and back in a short amount of time if possible. I just purchased 2 kits myself and they will need built soon. I am not looking to do the work becuase I want them to look good when they are finished. I will do my own wood work though so I can get what I want there. Is the above email a member here or pn another forum? |
I dunno if he's a member of this board but I had occasion to contact John McCAw and visited his shop. He certainly impressed me as having allot of experience. I also had opportunity to examine some of his work and was very impressed. I wouldn't hesitate to contract him for a build. |
