Fourty of them rent a bus and load it up with beer and go up there, well this year they couldn't get in , 15,000 people get turned away . The joint was full by 5 am. Buncha nuts

I worked the wingbowl. They have us wear bright yellow shirts. It was like having a target on our backs. I was hit with a beer can, had soda, pretzels, and a chicken bone thrown at me. Had blood on my shirt (someone else's) mustard on my pants. I left needing a shower and a tetnus shot. And I was one of the lucky ones! At one point seven of our guys got onto it with a bunch of guys in the lobby, after locking the doors. And the cops just stood there and watched! All and all it was a fun time.

Sounds like fun. Glad I didn't go. Don't pick on the Philly Cops. They are responsible for the people AFTER they are thrown out. Inside they're securities problem. They're were quite a few officers that received injuries from the rioters outside. Maybe it's a novel idea, but they out to start selling or giving out tickets so that there aren't 15k pissed off people outside. |
Ok, well why were they INSIDE? To see the girls flashing their boobies? If inside is our problem, then stay outside.
And a few got hurt INSIDE too.
I agree, but I'm a bouncer not a ticket agent. I was not picking on the cops. But saying that are not responsible for a fight in progress is wrong. If a cop witnesses a fight or any other crime in progress they ARE responsible. They were assigned to work at the Wacovia center. AND that is what they were getting paid to do. |
