A recent post here about consignment guns got me thinking about this place again. I was only there once or twice but the guy seemed really nice. Now that I heard he went out of business. What happened? Sick of the BS?Or what? Thanks |

Just confirmed that Mr. Beck did in fact retire and move up state. Mike and Kates is a little store probably 12 x 12 or a little smaller. I don't go there much but he did handle a transfer for me. He requires that a firearm come from a dealer and not a private person. Beck's did not have this requirement. Lately, M&K has been looking like the gun store of choice for North Philadelphia Gladiators....Just an observation and nothing against the store owner.....I would stick with Locks....bigger selection...I can't speak for the treatment you get there because it has been 15 + years since I did business with them....
