So some years back I put together a very fun shoot for everyone. I don't know if anyone is left her from back in the day but if ya are you can vouch for me. To this day we still don't speak of some of the things that happened out there ;). It's been a LONG time and I'm planning to head out again. Like last time, we can head up around noon, spend the night out there... then finish up the next day. It was a lot of fun last time. I hope to see y'all there again. If we get enough interest I'll even bring the Tannerite like last time.

The spot is up I-17 off Bloody Basin Rd. It looks to have changed a LOT since the last time I was out there. Kinda a shame, half the fun was just getting to the spot.

Let me know what y'all think and we can plane some stuff out.

We should have more Mid-Southern Arizona HTF shoots.  Prescott is nice but its far enough away from the Tucson crew that its not usually easy to make it out.

Are there any decent desert shooting spots on the south or east sides of Phoenix?

There's some near Florence, and some near Maricopa. There's also some northeast of Mesa, but at all of these except Florence, group size would be limited to about 10 shooters max at the spots I'm most familiar with.

Tannerite would be a definite no-go at the spots near Maricopa, too rocky and too much populace in the surrounding areas. It's probably outright prohibited, but I haven't checked in a while.
