| From what I overheard and some additional info I got from a friend that works for TMC, it sounds like DM is reaching out to TMC and other local hospitals down here. Some of the items being discussed are access to ORs, the number of units of blood on hand and access to a hyper-barometric chamber. My sources are meh at best, but it all seems pretty odd to me. |

Okay so I just heard From a source that they are planning here in maricopa county for the possibility of a new bird flu out break and that if it hits here in Arizona they expect 40,000 to 400,000 casualties, I know big span of numbers there. I guess they are planning on using one of the local stadiums as a morgue and setting up containment zones in infected areas. This info was heard from AZCHER meeting. ETA this may have been a planning exercise only who knows, AZDHS has a plan for mass casualty events you can google. |
