I am going to purchase a super shorty off of a friend and need to get a trust written up Before the laws change in july.  I have seen some online options ranging from $80 to $150. Looking online at AZ lawfirms they seem to want $800 to $1600, ouch.  I want one where my wife is on the trust as well so she has access to us it as well. Anyone have a Phoenix area contact that writes them at a reasonable price? I appreciate the help.

I bought one for 49 from the link below, just got my first stamp the other day. There's free ones on this site as well. 800-1600 is nuts and the ones online are NFA worded specifically for your purposes, your wife kids, friends, whoever can be placed on these trusts.

Dereck Huffman at www.azexarms.com did my trust and NFA transfers. Has been a couple years but I seem to remember it being around $125. for the trust set up.  He's in the S.E. valley in Queen Creek area.

Just use quicken will maker to do the trust.

Please understand WHAT a trust is and the purpose it serves. It's not a "loophole" but a financial planning vehicle for inheritance and management of assets.

There is no such thing as a special National firearms Act trust. Someone is bending you over the barrel if they claim it is.

There is a sticky at the top of the AZHTF page.  Click on it and follow the isntructons.

Thanks all for the replies. I saw the stick and will download it. I also downloaded one from the class3 forum.  The thing i noticed was it was missing a spot to add my wife.

I agree some of the costs i am seeing are just stupid. I want to get mine processed prior to the july law change.

Doesnt need to be az local.

Coyoterifleworks.com

Fill out the online form, pay the $, get the pdf emailed to you, print it out, go get it notarized at youre bank, start buying nfa stuff.

Its really really easy and fast, i have my sbr, and a suppressor on mine. Never an issue.

If you have questions or need to make a change you can literally email them anytime and get a response within minutes (atleast that has been my experience for the last 2 years)

I have used the one in the sticky 3 times. Most recently approved suppressor was about two weeks ago.

I dont know if you got a trust yet but I do recommend H Dean Phillips. He's out of Georgia but does them for several states including AZ. $99 and you can actually call him with any questions you may have for FREE.

I have not purchased one yet. I downloaded the free version in this forum as well as the one in the class 3 forum. Comparing those to each other. Seems many have had luck with both versions. The one that I downloaded from this forum seems easier to navigate.

Thanks again all. I appreciate your help and insight.

I wrote my own. Just did double and triple checks on everything. As someone stated before, there is no special NFA trust. A trust is a trust is a trust. How its written is key and what you put in it is up to you. Don't let some of these guys take you wanting a ton of money. If you want/need someone to write it for you, I'd say go $150, no more
