Snow up here in Kingman....with ice underneath. I was in 4WD all the way to work and still broke traction six times. Passed one 4-car accident and one single car accident. All night long I heard sirens going through town and up on to the freeway (40). Any of you out working the roads today be safe! |

7 Inches right now in Sedona and still coming down like someone is getting paid by the snowflake. Sirens constantly going up and down 89a. People do not know how to drive in snow. When aren't there? |

Made it home....Bear, what's your 20? Wife and I had an Expedition speed past us, then further down the road it was laying on its lid with cars stopped to help. It was a husband and wife of about 70ish, and a lady in her 40's or so. The younger lady and another guy were trying to drag the older couple out. My wife and I told them not to, as there were no fluids, and the engine wasn't running. Neither one had been buckled and were knocked shitless-only able to mumble. The younger lady had the guy drug out halfway, so I got him away from the road by a fence. The stupid bitch said to let him see his wife , but the poor old guy had no idea what was even happening. After I got him secured, I go back to the vehicle to find my wife telling them to leave the lady put, as she was bleeding from the head. She said let's get her a blanket and wait for the paramedics. They didn't listen, and yanked her ass out, my wife and I looked at each other, and said, " fuck this, we're not going to risk getting hit by another car when this dumbass won't listen to reason." I even got stern with her at one point telling her to keep calm and think about the situation, but she didn't want to listen. When we left, the ambulance was just up the road. What a fiasco....

What a doofus I am. Yesterday when leaving work I was going down our office's handicap ramp when you guessed it --- ass over tea kettle I go with only about 2 steps left to flat ground. Ouch! Right on my "tail" bone. Then I had a hard time standing as every time I tried to get up my feet would slip out from under me. So there I lay, doing my impression of a 'Snow Angle' until I finally managed to get up. Geesh; I looked like I had on a winter camo smock. Anyway, made it home to a bottle of Scotch and my fireplace and everything seemed to fall back in to place....but boy, is my ass sore!
Snowed all day yesterday here in Kingman, probably got about 5 inches. And judging from what was on top of my truck this morning I'd say another 3 inches came down overnight. Last day of work for this week (New Year's day) and then I'm off for 2 days. I see some .45ACP and 5.56mm Tracer firing in my immediate future! |
| I'm up in Pine Lake in the Hualapais. We had about 8 - 10 inches up here. Hualapai Mountain Road was closed to everyone except those with chains until around noon today. They scraped the road pretty well and it is pretty dry the entire way up except past the ranger station. As soon as the road opened, the herp a derp from Kingman all funneled up in their brodozers. |

I can't believe how many other Kingman guys keep showing up on here! Are you going to the HTF shoot? |

Heading up to the Hualapais tonight. Any idea if DW Ranch is open from 40 to Hualapai mountain road? |

Yesterday (1-1-15) we headed up to pinetop via globe. What a beautiful drive, had snow on the ground from Gonzales pass all the way up.
Got down to 5deg last night. Been snowing off and on all afternoon. Lots of people up here, but everyone is driving smart. Have not seen a stuck car or accident yet. Knock on wood. |
