I thought carrying in bars was not allowed in AZ. I don't see that anywhere in ARS 13-3102. Is that something that changed recently?
Also, I've heard that people between the ages of 18-20 can carry concealed, but ARS 13-3102 says that they can't carry concealed in a car unless part of the holster or gun is showing. Did I read that right? |

Ages 18 to 20 is open carry only.
You can carry in a place that serves alcohol for consumption on the premises only if you have a conceal carry permit, and the firearm is concealed. You must also follow any postings that restrict firearms were alcohol is being served. That does not apply to non business related property. |

Can I carry a firearm into an establishment that serves alcoholic drinks for consumption on the premises if I have a CCW permit?
Yes, unless the establishment has posted signs prohibiting weapons (A.R.S. 4-229). You may not consume alcohol while in possession of your firearm (A.R.S. 4-244). There are some additional exceptions see A.R.S. 13-3102. http://www.azdps.gov/Services/Concealed_Weapons/Questions/ |
