What is going on with the Armory on Pima?  I have tried to go in there three times since I moved back and the door is always locked during their normal business hours.  Are they still in business?

The Armory on Pima is also Sionics Weapons Systems. Josh and his crew are concentrating on building and selling Sionics rifles now. As far as I know they are pretty much out of the business of selling other weapons except LE/Mil Glocks and those they don't keep in stock. Special order mostly. The business hours are pretty erratic because of the focus on cranking out rifles.

That's interesting, I haven't seen a Sionics rifle for sale in years.  Oh well, I liked the proximity to other gun stores, mainly 2a sports, easy to hit a couple places on one trip.

I might be wrong, but you might be confusing the original Sionics who made suppressors in the 1960's with Sionics Weapon Systems. The name was purchased by the new company. http://sionicsweaponsystems.com/store/. Josh has been building rifles under that name for about 4 years now.  I agree with you though. It was nice to be able to hit 2A, the Armory and Murphy's all in a close proximity. All the best

I went into The Armory about 6 months ago, most of the old store had been walled off and there were about 8-9 guns total in the section that was still open to the public. When the new owner took over that shop a few years back I had high hopes for him, initially he had a good selection of guns, but over the last couple years his inventory has decreased to almost nothing, to the point I don't even bother going in anymore, really too bad what has happened to that place.  I wish him the best with the Sionics brand but I really would liked to have another gun store in Tucson.

I am exaggerating a little, but it has probably been a year and a half or more since I have seen a Sionics Rifle for sale.  I remember him talking about it a few times when I went in there in 2010 or so and I saw a few at shops in Phoenix but nothing recent.

That's unfortunate, they had a pretty nice selection going there for awhile and I liked the atmosphere.
