Magnetic mounts don't seem to solid, I'm looking for a good shop in the Phoenix area to mount a CB antenna on the bed of my truck, any suggestions on shops and antennas?

Thanks

Many years ago I had a magnetic mount and never had a single problem with it during the 6 or 7 years I ran with it. Just don't buy a small, wimpy mount!

I have a dual band 27.5inch magnetic mount antenna for my HAM radio in the truck.  No issue with the mount at all - it even has been hit with branches and such in parking lots.

Check with Ham Radio Outlet for antenna mounts that would fit your needs.  They've got a bunch of mounts, and I know they carry antenna mounts that bolt up in the stake pockets.

BTW - antenna installs are easy (although the cable runs can be challenging) - may as well do it yourself.

Apollo Communications. A mag mount should work fine though.
