| Got a call from a friend of mine who was out walking his dog about 8:00 last night. Said he watched "something" in the sky close to him, could make out a shape and it made no noise. Normally I'd pass this off as an aircraft since we have so many here, but he's a stand up guy - no drugs or alchohol involved. Just wondering if anyone saw or heard anything about this. |

Me and a few friends fly our "drones" nearby but not usually south of the interstate. I have seen a wing with LED's on it at night, but again it was north of the interstate.... In other words, wasn't me.
ETA there are more than a few NAVMAR guys that fly on their personal time with RC stuff, but they're smart enough to stay away from controlled airpsace, usually at the AMA field. Would not surprise me if they did a demo for the USMC there though. |
