I'm hoping this gentlemen is a member or the ambulance crew might be. I wanted to say thank you to the off duty firefighter who was the first responder to my motorcycle accident on September 14th around the 101 and 7th ave. He stabalized my neck and talked to me to help me stay conscious throughout the incident.
I got hit going around 40mph with no helmet just a vest and gloves. I didn't walk away but broke my femur fibula talus nose and a bunch other I forgot . Things I learned.... I got super lucky, will be wearing a Full face and heavy boots in the future even though I ride Harley's Arizona has some nice people left in it and I'm glad to live here now. Spending almost a month in the hospital sucks, John C Lincoln has hit and miss care but I did have excelent surgeons and the nurses treated me better once they realized I work, have a good job and wasn't just another scooter trash patient. Actually head one nurse call me her donor cycle patient Oh. We'll rant off thought I'd share and say thanks

Write this guy a letter saying how much you appreciate the off duty taking his time, to save your life.
[email protected] He will find out who it was, but make sure you give as much info as possible, time, location, date, etc. PS, congrats on being alive still. Not many people survive a crash like that, (without a helmet to boot). |
