If you're in Tempe you know what I'm talking about |
|
Was getting a haircut at the Great Clips at 67th and Deer Valley. Lights in the parking lot went out and the lights inside started flickering. I told the girl to hurry up and finish and pray the power stays on so she could get paid (had no cash). Then proceeded to drive home. Big mistake, got to Union Hills and I couldn't see anything because the rain was coming down so hard. |
| I'm out in Avondale, my family and I did not notice the storm coming in. All of a sudden the Doggie Door started Flapping like crazy and the rain is making it all the way to the sliding door that is tucked way under the patio. Went out front to have an after dinner smoke and my neighbors Mesquite tree blew over and landed about a foot from his truck. Driving through the neighborhood this morning an it looked like a damn tornado came through, debris everywhere, trees blown over some in the streets, and even saw a street light was leaning way over. I love night like last night, fun to watch, especially the light show |

I am in a special part of tucson... almost all the weather goes around my place.... I can see it to the north and south and east and occasionally we catch the edge but we only get hit a couple of times a year. Richard I'm just Southwest of Tucson and that is how this monsoon has acted at my house. I can look up and there will be black skies all around but directly over head it will be clear as can be. We've only gotten a couple of good gully gushers this year. |

I'll turn off my haliburton weather machine I had running.
