| New place on the 10 & Warner. Anyone have any info on it? Seemed like a nice place. Just peeked in. Saw a couple of AR types for sale, 2 Ed Browns and a Scar 16 they were very proud of. |

Quoted: By IKEA? Ain't that the new one caswells put up? Yep. Didn't know it was Caswells. Listened to a RSO tell a woman she didn't want some pistol with an exposed hammer because if she drew down on someone and cocked the hammer "they" could get her on "intent".

Gun store counter workers spreading myths, misconceptions, and half-truths? Say it ain't so! And FWIW, I haven't been in there yet, though I mean to stop by at some point in time when I find myself in the area. |

I don't get on that side of town much but will stop by when I do. |

I live less than 2 miles from C2. I bought a membership back in March and I've probably been in to shoot around 15 times.
My take below FWIW as I know some folks on here have an extreme dislike for anything Caswell's. Pro's: It is very clean Target systems (especially on the rifle range) are really nice Most (not all) of the RSO's are pretty cool - they cut "regulars" some slack, they'll shoot with you if its not busy, they'll sweep your brass (and sometimes folks shooting around you...) up in a nice pile if you are saving your brass, they do a good job helping out new shooters, etc. They have a really good selection of new guns. The prices are not great but not too bad either. You'll find better deals on Glocks at Glockmeister, Pistol Parlour likely beats them as well, etc. I'd say most stuff is about at MSRP so don't go in there expecting a deal but you won't get robbed either Con's: Membership prices are high and the benefits don't seem any better than other places The counter help (range and sales) can be iffy. Like almost every other place some of the folks are helpful and knowledgeable, others...not so much I can't comment on range ammo prices as I always bring my own reloads. They do have their set of range rules, some folks may not like them all...but it is their range. If you don't like their rules, don't go. If you are not following their rules, they will let you know. Most of the RSO's are nice about it, but I've seen a couple times where they were a little snappy, sometime justifiably. While its not a perfect place, its not bad either. I like it, especially since its less than 5 minutes from my house!!! Again - the above is just my perspective, YMMV. |

What is the price - all I heard was it was expensive, especially for us state slave types. $489.95 for 1 year for an individual membership with free range time. C2 Tactical Memberships |

Quoted: Sounds about right for Caswells. Over $10 more per month than an SGC membership Quoted: Quoted: $489.95 for 1 year for an individual membership with free range time. Sounds about right for Caswells. Over $10 more per month than an SGC membership |

Don't make me bust out picture story time again and make fun of y'all for needing AC to go shooting. |

| I stopped by today, the look and feel of the place is pretty neat but the prices were pretty poor and the sales guys were trying to tell me that no one (other then lE/Mil) can legally own a class 3 machine gun haha you'd think someone who sells suppressors would know what they are talking about |

Walked in the other day to check it out. Place is nice and clean and well laid out, but they wanted $25 for PMAGs, the guy at the counter ignored my wife and I entirely while he tried to sell some Asian woman a revolver because "semi-autos are too complicated and unreliable", and they had pretty much no decent priced ammo in stock.
Its close to my house but I won't be back anytime soon. |
