What's a fair price for a evaporator coil change out and the part is still under warranty?   What pisses me off, the unit is a Lennox 3-ton, only 2.5 yrs old.  The install had a 1 yr labor/ 10yr parts warranty.

Appreciate any help you guys can provide.

Jeez bro- there is no easy answer.  July-aug is the worst time of year to price ac work.

Evap coil in attic, or garage?

I own a small AC company called High Caliber AC.  Please call me anytime to discuss your options.  A 2.5 year old unit should not have a bad coil unless it was installed wrong.  There are lots of variables involved to give you a price.  We are one of the only NRA Business Alliance member AC companies and give discounts to NRA Members. We also have an A+ rating with the BBB.  Be carful there are a lot of dishonest companies in the valley.

Outside on the roof.. You sure it's not the condenser coil?  Evap coils are usually inside the house somewhere, typically right after the main blower.

Had “High Caliber Air Conditioning” out to the house last Friday morning for an issue with my AC, told Shawn and is co-worker about my issue that I was experiencing and they found the bad component. I had them also check on a few other things and they were marginal and had them replace also. Very good and friendly work done.
