We used to shoot out off Watson Rd. but my brother said people have been getting into trouble for shooting out there recently. Not sure how true it is though. I, myself will be looking to shoot in those parts soon as well. Bullet_, You mind PM'ing me whatever you PM'ed OP?

| Like many of you I sometimes like the idea of a family/friends shoot in the open desert. Last time was north of I-10 on 355 Ave, way way north and up against a hill. Before that it is was way way west of Lake Pleasant Park and north off of Hwy 74 (Carefree Hwy). However after reading about areas down Tucson way that got closed to shooting due to trash (Scouts like me pack it in and pack it out, including what dip shit left); the new Joe Foss County Range on Hwy 85 south of Buckeye is looking better all the time. Only open F-S-S with short hours but very nice facility. |
