| First time I've seen one of these signs. Was at the Smashburger at Power & McDowell. Sign didn't quote the ARS. Very interesting. |

Someone probably spooked the sheeple. I'll look for it the next time I'm near there (I'm right down the street).
Also, you have to have a CCW to carry somewhere that serves alcohol, and IIRC, they do. I'm not sure how I feel about this... a No Open Carry sign basically means that they're fine with you bringing your gun in, just don't spook the people who aren't OK with it, because they give us money also. |

The serve beer. Yeah, I think that's exactly what they're saying. |

I have not seen a single open carrier in AZ. Come out to my neck of the woods, I see it all the time. I especially enjoy it when the snowbirds are here, and they see a couple of Hispanics OC'ing at a restaurant. They look like their heads are gonna explode!! |

I conceal carry every day.
I open carried in florence yesterday after shooting because i was to hot & sweaty to put on an IWB holster. Left the G19 in the TCB holster on. I was nervous at the gas station because i guess the DHS is right around there, and a few of those guys were filling up, but all they did was nod hello and walk on. Its very weird open carrying for me. Conceal carry became normal after a day or so. Now i don't even notice, or worry that people are looking at me. |

I normally conceal because I don't want to be marked by a BG as they one they have to shoot first. But, I do open carry sometimes. In tombstone I will open carry a Cols SAA buy mine is loaded with real bullets. I open carry on a hike with my trail gun an K Frame in 357 Mag.
That said, I've seen a couple of places with the sigh that goes something like We support Concealed Carry in our establishment. |

Wife and I go to The Black Bear restaurant on occasion. There is a cartoon sign at the front door that says "No Open Carry". My wife looks at me and says, "Well I guess that means concealed carry is just fine with them!" I went yesterday (this thread popped up, and Smashburger just sounded good), and it is a cartoon sign, a 'Star' wearing a pair of wheelguns. I agree with the thoughts at the beginning of this thread- trying to keep people from getting in trouble for carrying in an establishment that serves alcohol. |
