| As of May 13, I will be working with the AZGFD on the Sonoran Pronghorn research. I got the notification today that I was accepted the position. Just a summer job, but I will be gaining a lot of experience and possibly get a job offering afterwards. I been volunteering a lot and testing out different fields before I apply for my grad schools. I scored a low 25 on my MCAT so I am looking into more job opportunities. I am super excited, only down side is I will be in AJO, AZ the entire summer. Middle of no where. |

Just out of curiosity, what is your undergrad major? I have a bio degree. They knew I was primarily medical from my answers. Good thing I do A LOT of hunting and read up on a lot of arizona wildlife, cause that was the key factor I think. Hopefully the people I work with are really cool. They said I can bring a gun if I wish. So to keep myself busy when i am off, i will be bringing one of my AR15s to do some yote hunting and my Glock for personal carry cause of the area. I amr eally excited about this position. I am going to also be studying the MCAT and GRE books I have while i am down there. I will be taking my GRE in Jan, so figured I could try my MCAT again. It is really going to depend on if I like the AZGFD, I might go for my MS in Conservational wildlife or Micro Bio. Cool thing also, I think I get a truck while I am there! They said a Ford or Dodge! =) |
